Integrated lenses: General tab

IDENTIFICATION OF THE INTEGRATED LENS

This part allows you to assign codes and a name to the lens.

How to enter the lens characteristics:

  • Code: assigned by the manufacturer, this code must be unique in the catalog.

  • Internal code: it is a specific code to iWiCatalog. It can be used for specific needs. Inherited from the "basic lens".

  • Ordering code: assigned by the manufacturer, this code can be multiple in the catalog. It is this code that is used when ordering.

  • Name (number of characters depending on the format):

    • 60 👉 in Opto11

    • 50 👉 in Optimeyes

    • 40 👉 in SF6

  • Public product: allows to indicate if the product is available in the Public catalogs or only for a particular groupment(s). Inherited from "basic lens" but can be modified.

  • Origin guaranteed: Inherited from the "basic lens" but modifiable.

  • Essential characteristics: intended for the French market only. This is a text written by the supplier detailing the brand, model, essential characteristics and performance of the product. This paragraph will be used as input to the product description in the standard specification.

STATUS IN THE CATALOG

The information inherits the "basic lens" but can be modified.

GROUPMENTS AND FAMILIES

For these two different parts the operation is identical.

You can add a groupment or a family directly on the "base lens". When assigning it, iWi will ask you if you want to add the element on all the integrated versions.

In order for these filters to work correctly in the catalog exports, it is necessary that the groupment or family is assigned to the "basic lens" AND the integrated version.

If both are not, then the integrated lens will be excluded from the export and therefore absent from the catalog.
