IWICATALOG - Tables and search bar use

With the iWiCatalog tables you can display the data according to the page you are visiting.

The tables display the necessary data. You can optimize them to obtain the required display or apply filters.

If your company catalog has families or societies groups, you can filter the products using the Family and Groupment lists above the table (1).

You can move the columns (2) to put them in the order that seems most coherent to you: click on the column you want to move ➡️ left-click ➡️ drag the column left or right ➡️ release.

The table organisation is based on the profile. Each user can therefore customize its display.

📌 HIDE DELETED PRODUCTS

By default this check mark is activated. Its purpose is to hide all the products in deleted state in the table display and thus optimize your researches.

⚠️ If you are looking for a product that does not appear in the table, remember to deselect this option.

📌 CHECK ALL / UNCHECK ALL

With this option you can select or deselect everything in the table header. Note: researches from a filter are only performed on checked column.

⚠️ If you are looking for a product that does not appear in the table, please control that the check mark corresponding to the right column is active.

📌 CHOICE OF COLUMNS

When right-clicking in the table header, the option Choice of columns is available. If you select this option a pop-up window appears (see below):

Any active check mark displays the information related to this column in the tables. You can change these settings at any time.

This option allows you to have a more optimal display.

For example, if you are a manufacturer who always has the same manufacturer and distributor codes, one or both of these two pieces of information are not essential in your research criteria. You can therefore choose not to display them in order to have the most useful information for your researches.

📌 SEARCH BAR USE

If you want to research one or more word(s), simply type them in the search bar.

For example, if you want to carry out a search on a word or exclude it (ex. progressive), different possibilities are possible according to your needs:

  • Progressive 👉 to search all progressive lenses or lenses whose term is included in the active columns

  • -Progressive 👉 to search all lenses for which at least one of the columns does not include the word progressive.

  • "Progressive lens" 👉 to search only lenses containing this string of characters in the results of the table. The " signs allow you to focus the search on a term. They must be placed at the beginning and end of the characters' string, without space between the first and last character.

  • "*4"👉 to only search lenses ending with 4 (in this example). Only the column(s) concerned should be ticked.

  • "4*" 👉 to only search for lenses starting with 4.

  • *4 *5 👉 to search the lenses ending with 4 or 5.

  • "*4" "5*"👉 to search lenses ending with 4 and beginning with 5.

  • - "*4"👉 to look lenses that don't end with 4.
