The quote is an information destined to the final client (the wearer). It allows to highlight a product in a descriptive manner.
It is a label written by the supplier detailing the marking, model, essential characteristics and performances of the product. This data is used to feed the product description in the quote.
Its size is limited to:
1024 characters in Opto11
250 characters in Optimeyes
Warning - in iWi there are no restriction for the limitation of 250 characters
In order to optimize the estimates made by opticians, it is advised not to put more than 250 characters. Indeed, tests have been carried out and show that the use of more than 250 characters is not desired when publishing estimates on paper. (several pages edited during the tests).
Only the manufacturer's code is edited on the optician's estimate. The distributor's code will not be known by the wearer.
How to enter it le saisir dans iWiCatalog ?
This information is located in the “Marketing” tabs of the different types of products at the level of the Essentials characteristics field.
In the product sheet, the date correspond to the public version, thus if you have a Groupment version of the product with a different name you will have to change the name in the Groupment to be consistent in the information conveyed in the catalogs.
