• Company: corresponds to the company to which the catalog belongs.

• Product type: defines the type of product included in the catalog.

• Name: describes the catalog as it may be presented to the optician before he integrates it into his system. It is therefore important that the description contains information such as:

  • Full name of the supplier (with its country if international)

  • Groupment concerned or "standard" if not specific

  • Commercial reference or date of the corresponding paper catalog.

    For example: Test iZySolutions STD avril 2020

• Name in the file: used only for the Opto11 format in order to describe the type of product in the <Description> tag of the OpticCatalog

• Description: this is the comment data for the user who integrates the catalog into his store management software.

  Used in the formats:

  • Opto11 in the <Note> tags of the OpticCatalog

  • Optimeyes in line 00

  • SF6 in the Head.dat file and then in the How field

• Perimeter: used only for Opto11 format in the <ScopeID> tag. We advise to indicate STD for a public catalog and the group code when it is a groupment.

• Test catalog: when the check mark is active, the products in design will be exported. This allows to test the validation of future products.

Allows to generate coefficients during export on the desired products type in the form y = ax+b.

These settings can be independently applied on the purchase or sales price.

Type:

• Standard rounding:

  • The first five decimal values (0, 1, 2, 3, 4) will be rounded down → example: 1.34€ will become 1.30€

  • The next five (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) will be rounded up → example: 1€35 will become 1.40€

• Rounding up: allows you to round all prices away from 0 → example: 1€31 will become 1€40

• Rounding down: allows you to round all prices by tending towards 0 → example: 1€39 will become 1€30

• Precision: this option offers the choice of rounding to the nearest euro, tenth of a euro or cent.

🔴 CATALOG

Type:

• Public product: only products, for which the check mark Public Product in the General tab of a product file is activated, will be present in the catalog.

  However, the Options product type does not include this information.

• Groupment product: only the products attributed to the groupment selected from the drop-down list will be present in the catalog.

• Public product and Groupment: only the products for which the check box Public Product in the General tab of a product file is activated will be present in the catalog as well as those attributed to the groupment selected from the drop-down list. Please note that for this option, the product code of the retailer takes precedence over the public product code. As a result, only one code will be generated for a product if it is a public product and groupment.

• Public product and groupment by generating the public version of a groupment product: all public products and groupments will be present in the catalog. If a product is public and groupment (with a different product code) then both versions will be exported in the catalog.

Example of the result of the exported lenses for each type:

• Public product: AAA001, BBB001, DDD001

• Groupment product: CCC001, DDD001, EEE001

• Public product and groupment: AAA001, CCC001, DDD001, EEE001

• Public product and groupment by generating the public version of a groupment product: AAA001, BBB001, CCC001, DDD001, EEE001

Include "Controls" options: allows you to include or exclude Control options from a catalog.

Export only groupment options: allows you to export only the options assigned to the selected groupment in the catalog.

Integrated products: accessible only for bases working in integrated products. This check mark allows to export only integrated products (only for lenses).

🔴 FILTERS

Manufacturers: to include or exclude products related to one or more manufacturers.

Distributors: allows to include or exclude products related to one or more distributors. The management is the same to the management of the manufacturers (see explanation above).

Families: allows to include or exclude products related to one or more families. The management is the same to the management of the manufacturers (see explanation above).

Products :

• When you click on the +, only the selected products will be exported in the catalog.

• When you click on the -, the selected products will not be exported in the catalog.

• The Product Type list allows you to filter the desired product type.

🔴 REPLACEMENTS

Manufacturers:

• Do not replace manufacturers: the manufacturers indicated on the product sheets will be those exported (default value selected).

• Replace all manufacturers by: allows you to replace all the manufacturers present on the product sheets by a single manufacturer (selected in the drop-down list) for the catalog.

• Replace one by one: allows you to modify one manufacturer by another. Below, the manufacturer code IZY - IZYSOLUTIONS will be replaced by VEC - iZySolutions. By clicking on the blue + button, it is possible to add another manufacturer’s code to be modified by another.

Distributors: the management of this section is the same as that of the manufacturers (see the screenshot above).
