This tab is used to fill in the manufacturers and distributors which are used to identify products in iWiCatalog and/or in your EDI catalogs. It is possible to have several manufacturer and distributor codes even if in iWiCatalog the products are attached to only one. The other codes can be modified in the EDI catalog definitions. On the contrary, it is possible to have several manufacturer and/or distributor codes in iWiCatalog and only one in the EDI catalogs.

Creating/Editing a manufacturer

The code and the name of the manufacturer are mandatory.

For any catalog intended for the French market, it is necessary to include the following data:

• Address

• Postal Code

• City

• Country

These data are necessary from the Opto11 R18 standard. If this information is not completed then the Edi-Optique validator will not validate the catalog. This information is intended to be transmitted in the standardized estimates proposed to the final customers.

If a contact exists in the parameters then it is possible to make the link from the possibilities offered by the Contact list. This information will be transmitted in the Opto11 and SF6 catalogs.

The code and the name of the distributor are mandatory.

The contact is transmitted in the Opto11 and SF6 catalogs if it is linked to the manufacturer or distributor. It is used to specify the contact person(s) responsible for the EDI catalog.
