IWICATALOG - Mass update via Excel Interface

There are different types of formats in iWiCatalog that allow you to make quick and multiple modifications on your products:

🙋‍♀️ Wich steps to follow for using the interface module ?

The green Interface button is located on the main page of your catalog where the table of all your products is located (see 1. above).

When you click on this button, the interface window will appear, allowing you to choose your format to be updated and then either import or export.

First of all, choose the format you wish to modify en masse (see 2. above).

Perform an export in order to obtain the Excel database of your products to be modified. You can stay on a public catalog or choose a retail catalog by selecting the one you want in the drop-down list (see 3. above).

  1. Choose the All button if you want to proceed on all products (see 4. above)
  2. Choose the Checked button if you have previously selected your products before clicking on the Interface button (see 4. above)

Once your changes have been entered into the Excel file, save it as a .Zip file and drag and drop or simply click Choisir un fichier (= choose a file) (see 6. above) to add it.

Once loaded, click on Import (see 7. above).

Make sure that the file structure is identical to the basic one. No headers, columns or sheets should be deleted.

The Excel skeleton must remain in order not to be considered in error when importing by iWiCatalog.

When importing, don't forget to zip your files.

🙋‍♂️ How to know if my file has correctly been imported?

There are two ways to be alerted of the status of your import:

  1. Thanks to the popups that appear at the bottom right of your screen when the import is finished and thanks to the notifications present in the bell located on the black menu bar at the top of your screen.
  2. Thanks to the Logs tab of the Import menu. Here you will find the details of the situation of your import, giving you an error report if problems were encountered.

See our documentation about import logs to know more about it: https://izysolutions.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IE/pages/1138720832
