Creating a packaging

To create a packaging, you will have to click on the blue + button.

Packaging identification

  • GTIN: fill in the GTIN, EAN or UPC code of the packaging. Reminder: the GTIN code is equal to the UPC code (preceded by two zeros) and the EAN code (preceded by one zero)

  • Catalog state: to indicate the commercial action of the packaging

    • Modifed: commercially available in the opticians softwares, its order is then possible.

    • Deleted : the optician won’t be able to order a product that has been put in this state. The packaging won’t be visible in the optician software.

Associated contact lens

To select the contact lenses to which the package will be associated. If the creation of the package is made from a contact lens then the selection will already be made. If the packaging is created from the packaging menu, the desired contact lens must be selected so that it appears above the table as in the example above.

Main characteristics

The display of the information required for packaging depends on the contact lens selected (type of vision and type of material). For example, for a spherical contact lens the cylinders and axes will not be visible so as not to create inconsistencies in the recorded data.

The limits displayed to the right of the input box allow you to know the limits of the contact lens. Any data entered out of limit will be modified according to the limits (max or min) of the contact lens.
