In OPTOv11, control codes 04, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 make no sense as there is no data to control. However, OPTOv11 allows supplements to be qualified to indicate all this information, which was not the case with OptimEyes. Thus,

  • 04, 10, 11 are thickness optimisation methods defined in OPTOv11 data #1048

  • 12 is a prism type defined in data #1050

  • 13, 14 correspond to the value "07" in data #587 (you can't do one without the other)

  • 15 is meaningless because base balancing cannot be requested, it is automatic

Please find below our tutorial to help you enter your controls on lenses and options.

⚠️ Particular case: management of standardized controls - Nature of control

STEP 1

From now on, when you go to the Controls part of your Lenses catalog, a blue Generate standard controls button will show.

STEP 2

Once you have clicked on it, a first window entitled Controls to generate displays proposing you to select the natures of control that you want to generate. This corresponds to the value that was present on the option (see screenshot below):

Check the ones you want in order to in order to count them or to un-check them if you don't want to generate them.

Once you have defined your control types, click the blue Next button.

A second and final window appears to choose for which format you want to use this control. You can select Opto11, SF6 or both.

When you have defined your format types, click on the blue Validate button. You will access the page with the controls you have pre-defined.

It is also possible to select the format taken into account in the control form from the box entitled Control.

Know that a standard control is only present on the supplements.

Also, the code of this control (< to 100) can’t be edit as it as it is covered by a standard.

Remember to check that your controls are correctly defined in relation to your specifics in the box entitled Controlled Data.
