FAQ - SF6 specificty
Exports of this format have some particularities, which are listed below:
LensType.DAT
The following options are not exported (unless the option exists with a different setting than below) but allow you to indicate particularities on the lenses:
Mandatory option of type Special Manufacturing and subtype Manufacturer's calculation (precal) indicate that the precal is included (MDM incl.: data 23, position 94).
Mandatory and included (at least) options of type Photochromic are not exported but indicate (Photochromic: data 18, position 89) that the lens is photochromic.
Mandatory and included (at least) Polarizing options are not exported but indicate (Polarizing: data 42, position 139) that the lens is polarizing.
Mandatory and included (at least) blue light filters are not exported but indicate (BlueLightFilter inkl.: data 46, position 143) that the lens contains an included blue light filter.
A mandatory and included (at least) option containing control type 51 (i.e. custom lens) (Aspheric lens: data 14, position 85) indicates that the lens is FreeForm (value 3) and is not exported.
A mandatory and included (at least) option of type Surface treatment and subtype Anti-reflective indicates that the lens contains the type of anti-reflective coating listed in the Anti-reflective coating category list (ET contained: data 16, position 87). We used the data comes from the Type of antireflective coating as below.
A mandatory and included (at least) surcharge of Surface treatment type allows to indicate the values 1 (Anti-scratch) or 2 (Super anti-scratch) (Hard coating incl.: data 19, position 90)
A mandatory and included (at least) surcharge of Surface treatment type allows to indicate the values 1 (Anti-fouling) or 2 (Super-fouling) (Clean coating incl.: data 20, position 91)
Mandatory and included options of type Special manufacture and subtype Special thickness indicate that the standard thickness is not included (non-standard diameters incl.: data 24, position 95) with the value 1.
Mandatory and included options of type Special manufacture and subtype Special diameter indicate that the standard diameter is not included (Non-standard thickness incl.: data 25, position 96).
Options.DAT
An option of type Special Manufacturing and subtype Manufacturer's Calculation (pre-calculated) indicates:
3=optimized (Deviating diameter: data 18, position 76) and
2=thickness reduction system / MDM (Deviating diameter: data 19, position 77)
An option of type Special manufacture and subtype Decentration indicates 1 in the data (Decentration: data 24, position 82)
An option of type Special manufacture and subtype Special thickness indicates 1 in the data (Deviating thickness: data 19, position 77)
An option of type Special manufacture and subtype Special diameter indicates 1 in the data (Deviating diameter: data 19, position 77)
An option of type Special manufacture and subtype Ovalized lens indicates 1 in the data (Deviating shape: data 22, position 80)
An option of type Special Manufacturing and subtype Special Base indicates 1 in the data (Deviating base curve: data 20, position 78)
A surface treatment option allows the values 1 (Anti-scratch) or 2 (Super anti-scratch) to be indicated (Hard coating incl.: data 13, position 71).
An option type supplement allows the values 1 (Anti-fouling) or 2 (Super-fouling) to be indicated (Clean coating incl.: data 14, position 72).
An option of type Tint and subtype Special will be changed to value 2 = tinted (Color: data 11, position 69)
