This frame contains the technical data of the options.

Characteristics

  • Processing visibility: indicates in the catalog if the option is visible to the eye or not
  • Applied to both lenses: indicates if the option is systematically applied to both lenses when ordering.
    • For example, you have to order a pair of lenses to have the tint
  • Available for ordering: defines if the option can be ordered. Sometimes it happens that some options are present in the catalog but can't be buy by the client. In this case we say that the coating is "not available for sale".
    • For example: a polarized option which is present in the catalog to describe the lens

CEN standards

    • Not recommended for driving at night: this restriction indicates that the wearer will not be able to wear his lenses while driving at night. For example: the lenses of a category greater than or equal to 2.

    • Not recommended for driving: this restriction indicates that the wearer will not be able to wear his lenses while driving at night. For example: for category 4 lenses or degressive lenses

    • Depends on center thickness and coating: SF6 specificity

    • No information provided: SF6 specificity

  • Alternative CEN restriction: if you select Depends on center thickness and coating or No information provided you will have to choose from the list the restriction corresponding to the lens in order to be able to export in SF6 and other formats

  • CEN category: see the table below which indicates the category corresponding to the absorption of visible light

  • No labels
