📗 What is a Master Catalog?

A master catalog Super-Catalog allows you to generate one catalog from multiple onesa catalog by merging several existing catalogs. The aim is to use several catalogs in order to make only to create a single one. For example, this allows enables you to send only out just one catalog to your customers while , when you used to send them twousually send out several.

📗 Choice of sub-catalogues

In the Catalogs section, you'll need to add all the catalogs you require for your super catalog.

Use the drop-down list (1) to select a catalog to add to the super catalog, then click on the + (2) to add it. The table just below contains the complete listing of all catalogs included in the super catalog.

Don't forget to select the company to which the super catalog will be linked (3).

📗 How to set up a Master Catalog

You can fill in the left section (General and Date) The General and Distributor Filter sections are completed in the same way as for a "classic" catalog.

The Date section allows you to manage the Validity Date and History Date data, in the same way as for a "normalclassic" catalog.

In the Catalogs section you can add all necessary catalogs to create your master catalog. By clicking on the + button next to the list of available catalogs to add it to the table below. All the catalogs in the table will be used to generate this master catalog. The export will take into account the parameters used in each catalogs and will merge all the data.

Validity date

    Validity start date = Lowest validity start date among all subcatalogues
    Validity end date = Highest validity end date among all subcatalogues

    Enter the number of years of validity, then click on the button to refresh the calculation of validity dates.

Historization

  • Inheriting from sub-catalogs
    Each sub-catalog is loaded from its own historization date

    This date will be used for loading each sub-catalog.

    Enter the desired number of years, then click on the button to refresh the date calculation.
