Why is my import in "error"?

There are two different formats:

EXCEL

The problems often encountered on imports in Excel format are due to :

...

  • Impossible to find the groupment at line X: the corresponding cells contain a value not known by iWiCatalog. Please modify your Excel file or add a sign in iWiCatalog.

  • The expected tabs are not all present: it is important not to modify the names of the tabs in the Excel format because they allow the program to know the tab and the type of data to interpret.

  • Impossible to find the combination option in line X: this indicates that a supplement code is present in the Combinations tab while the supplement is not known in the Options tab. (Watch out for spaces that could be the cause of this problem)

  • Unable to find the lens combined with the manufacturing grid in the X line: this indicates that a glass code is present in the Manufacturing Grid tab while the glass is not known in the Glass tab. (Beware of spaces that could be the cause of this problem)

  • Unable to find the lens associated with the price grid on line X: this indicates that a glass code is present in the Price grid tab while the glass is not known in the Glass tab. (Beware of spaces that could be the cause of this problem)

  • The marking code contains too many characters (max. 25) in the X line: indicates that the marking code is too long for the defined standards (here limited to 25 characters). This information will have to be corrected before importing the file again.

  • Min. addition (Manufacturing grids tab): the same message can be displayed for the max. addition. This will require a correction on your part. This message is displayed according to the type of lens.

  • Routing name (Manufacturing grids tab): indicates that the name of the routing is not filled in. This information will need to be corrected before importing the file again.

Le rapport d’import vous indique une erreur du type : The import report shows you an error of the type :

...

To correct this, the ZIP archive will have to be zipped a second time. The archive must contain an archive that contains all the files. Once the modification has been made the import should work correctly unless it contains errors.

For this kind of error, you can ask for a corrected version of the catalog or reintegrate the catalog by forcing the errors. You can of course make the corrections yourself afterwards.
