On this tab you can manage the:

• Diameters

• Base curve

• Manufacturing range

• Time to delivery

Diameters

This is where all the diameters available in your entire catalog are managed.

The table shows you all existing diameters. If you need to create new ones, this is where you will have to do it using the New Diameter frame.

Creating a new diameter

To create a diameter, you must fill in:

Center diameter Open	Off center diameter

Center diameter	Off center diameter

• The Type: center or off center

• The nominal diameter: physical diameter of the lens

• The effective diameter: diameter taking into account the offset for an off-center diameter. In the case of a centered diameter, the nominal and effective diameters will be equal.

• The Display code: marketing diameter view by the optician

• The usable diameter: diameter intended only on aphakic lenses because the optical zone is reduced

• The Ordering code: code used when ordering. If the field is empty, we multiply the effective diameter by 100. For a diameter 70/75 we will therefore indicate in the catalog 7500. If a value is entered, the value entered will be used.

• The elliptic diameter: if the glass is available in elliptic height, this information must be filled in

• The Rx color, stock color and outside manufacturing range color are optional

  • By default, the manufacturing grids in iWiCatalog are displayed in:

    • Blue for the Rx ranges

    • Green for the Stock ranges

    • Marron for the outside manufacturing ranges

  • You can also personalized the colors by clicking on the color selection button. To fill in the wanted color you must:

    • Click on the colo panel

    • Fill in a hexadecimal code

Base curves

The table below allows you to visualize the existing bending bases in your catalog.

The New base curve frame allows you to add a base, you will then have to enter a value (numeric) and a base name (alphanumeric).

When you click on the blue Add button, the table will be updated to display all the defined values.

Ranges type

In the table below you can visualize all the existing ranges in your catalog.

The New range type frame is used to add manufacturing ranges. You must fill in:

• A Type: available choices are Rx, Stock and Outside manufacturing range

• A Name: it allows for the same type of manufacturing to have several range possibilities

• A time to delivery: the list only proposes the items predefined in the Time to Delivery frame

• The Latest ordering time: to indicate on the range what is the time limit until which the optician can place his order. If the time is exceeded then a delay N+1 is to be taken into account.

When you click on the blue Add button, the table will be updated in order to display all the defined values..

Time to delivery

In the table below you can visualize the existing time to delivery on your catalog. Tins information is optional.

The New time to delivery frame is used to add a delay, you will then have to enter a value in Days and another in Hours. When you click on the blue Add button, the table will be updated to show all the values defined.

Le Round type for SF6 delivery time allows to use values defined in other formats and to have a specific delay in SF6.

• Round up: 2J 6h will be converted to 3J 0H

• Round down: 2J 6h will be converted to 2J 0H

Green Replace button

These buttons are available for the diameters and manufacturing ranges type.

Their purpose is to delete data that could be duplicated or replaced by another. The selected item to be replaced will be permanently deleted from your product database.

The management is identical on diameters and manufacturing ranges type. To replace an element you will have to :

1. Select the item to be replaced

2. Select the item that will replace the previous selection

3. Click on the red Replace button
