Price grids edition and creation

Marketing

  • Range type: to indicate in the catalog the range type of the contact lens as well as label of the range. Three types are possible:

    • Standard: most commonly used range

    • Out of range: end of range or low demand

    • Special manufacture: specific request out of catalog

  • Time to delivery: to inform the optician of the indicative delivery time in working days (Monday to Friday)

  • Electronic order allowed via EDI : to indicate if the optician can make an order of the price grid or not in EDI. If the contact lens has more than one price grid definition, this information may be different on the same lens depending on its range or grid.

Grid definition

To be filled in on the price grid of a contact lens according to the type of the contact lens and its type of vision.

Addition definition

In contactology, two types of additions (by value or by profile) are possible. In order to reach the desired definition, the type of vision must first be progressive (spherical progressive or toric progressive). Then you just have to select the check-mark Addition value or Addition profile in order to access the desired profile and then fill in the following fields:

Definition of the addition values:

  • Min. addition (optional) : to indicate in the catalog the minimum value of the addition

  • Max. addition (optional) : to indicate in the catalog the maximum value of the addition

  • Addition step (optional) : to indicate in the catalog the value of the addition step. It can’t be equal to 0, except in the case where the minimum value is equal to the maximum value.

Definition of the values by addition profile:

  • Type (optional) : to indicate the addition profile (Low, High or Medium)

  • Designation (conditional) : mandatory if the type is selected. This data is used to give a name to the near vision profile. We often find in the name the values Low, High or Medium.

Price

To indicate the price(s) of the contact lenses.
